Support worker £10-£12 per hour

Here at Sugarman we are currently looking for a full time support worker to join and be part of an amazing team to support a young male based in Blisworth in his own home with an acquired brain injury, challenging behaviour and PEG responsibilities, He enjoys swimming, going to the gym and the cinema, he also enjoys home activities such as baking, game consoles and board games. If you are looking for a role that is extremely rewarding and to be part of an amazing friendly team in a great working environment then this is the Job for you. a positive and active attitude is the most important requirement for this role

Full paid clinical theory and practical training will be provided to ensure you have the correct skills to support this individual. This will give you the opportunity to learn new skills, develop your career and experience exciting things.

We are looking for someone who can be flexible in working over 7 Days

The shift patterns are:

  • 7am – 7pm Days
  • 7pm – 7am Waking nights
  • Must be flexible working from Monday – Sunday

Requirements of the role:

  • Personal care prompts
  • Driving the service user to appointments and social activities. (Full UK driving license required)
  • Personal Support with emails, letters, diary organising and taking notes in meetings
  • Administering medication
  • Have a positive and solution-oriented attitude
  • Be passionate, caring and empathetic
  • Respectful and maintain professional boundaries Flexible, punctual, resourceful and professional
  • Work on your own initiative and think outside the box
  • Will go above and beyond for the Service User and staff involved in the package
  • Will respect his beliefs and values
