Shifts: Days- 7am-10pm , 10pm -7am – sleep-in
Pay : Days – £13.50 , sleep-in – £9.50

About the Role
We are seeking experienced Support Workers to provide 24/7 support for a man in his late 40s who wishes to live independently in his own flat. Although highly independent, the service user requires consistent background support, including overnight cover, to help manage emotional distress and prevent escalation of challenging behaviour.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Providing emotional support and reassurance to promote wellbeing
Supporting de-escalation during periods of distress or heightened emotion
Encouraging and maintaining routines within an independent living setting
Prompting and supporting medication compliance
Assisting with financial organisation and budgeting
Supporting attendance at medical and professional appointments
Accompanying the service user on daily walks and community activities
Maintaining clear, professional boundaries at all times
Recording and reporting incidents accurately in line with care plans
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for individuals who are compassionate, dependable, and confident working in complex support environments.
Essential Criteria:
Minimum 6 months’ experience in health and social care
Experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviours
Strong communication skills and emotional resilience
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to maintaining dignity, safety, and independence
