Job Title: Healthcare Assistant
Location: SE26 – Sydenham in South East London
Rate of Pay: £16.37 per hour
Shifts: Days and Nights, 3-4 shifts per week (mixture of shifts including weekends)
Contract Type: Full-time
Specialism: Complex Care (Spinal Cord Injury & Diabetes Care)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a gentleman with a spinal cord injury in his own home. This is a fulfilling and dynamic role offering the opportunity to learn new skills and build a meaningful care relationship.
Weekly Pay – PAYE or Umbrella
Holiday Pay (PAYE)
Ongoing support from our Nurse Care Manager and Registered Manager
Free clinical and theory training from experienced nurses

Diabetes Care: Blood glucose monitoring and administration
Specialised Care: Bowel care and urine care management
Clinical Monitoring: Autonomic Dysreflexia (AD) monitoring and tissue viability care
Personal and pressure area care
Supporting daily routines and emotional wellbeing
You’ll receive full training and undertake shadow shifts to ensure you feel confident and well prepared.
Non-driver accepted
6months mandatory experience with complex care, specifically Diabetes and Spinal Cord Injury
Right to work in the UK
Valid Children and Adult Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
