Job Title: Care Assistant
Location: Wakefield and surrounding areas
Pay: £13 per hour (Monday – Friday) | £13.20 per hour (Weekends)
Mileage: 35p per mile
Shifts: 7 am – 3 pm or 3 pm – 10 pm
Contract: Full-time or Part-time

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you’ll be a vital part of helping our clients maintain independence and dignity in their own homes. This includes emotional and physical support, helping with daily living tasks, and offering companionship.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting clients with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
  • Preparing meals and assisting with light domestic tasks
  • Administering medication
  • Providing emotional support and companionship
  • Encouraging hobbies, interests, and daily routines

Who We’re Looking For

You don’t need experience – just compassion, reliability, and a desire to help others. We’ll train you and support your journey every step of the way.

No experience? No problem. Full training provided.

Already experienced? If you have a transferable DBS and can attend our local Assessment Centre, we’ll fast-track your application so you can start sooner.
