Job Title: Nurse Care Manager Location: Poole, Doset, BH17 7FJ Annual Salary: £42,000 plus monthly bonus scheme and Car Allowance Contract Type: Full Time 40 hours per week Office Times: 0730-1630 Monday to Friday Experience: Critical with valid NMC PIN
As a Nurse Care Manager you will be responsible for the operational day-to-day management of the service, ensuring our continued compliance with relevant legislation. Working in partnership with colleagues and the senior management team you will ensure the provision of a safe, high quality service enabling individual needs.
The responsibilities of a Nurse Care Manager:
Lead on the assessment, planning and review of bespoke care packages for adults with complex health needs, ensuring all care plans and risk assessments are completed to a high clinical standard.
Provide clinical leadership, supervision and competency assessments for Healthcare Support Workers, ensuring they are fully trained and able to deliver safe, effective care.
Monitor and promote clinical excellence and compliance, maintaining adherence to NMC standards, organisational policies, and regulatory requirements across all assigned cases.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including Registered Managers, Care Coordinators and external health professionals, to ensure a cohesive and person‑centred approach to care delivery.
Provide ongoing clinical support and respond appropriately to urgent or emergency situations, ensuring service user’s needs are met safely and promptly.
Deliver high‑quality training and education, developing and adapting materials to enhance staff skills and improve outcomes for service users with complex and changing health needs.
Clinical Requirements:
An Adult Registered General Nurse with a current NMC PIN Number
Experienced in ICU or complex needs, such tracheostomy, PEG & gastrostomy or ventilated service users
Experience in developing and delivering personalised health and care plans
Experience in supervising or delegation of nursing care tasks
