Job Title: Support Worker
Location: CH62 – Eastham
Rate of Pay: £14.00 per hour (Day Shift) & £10.42 per hour (Sleep In)
Shifts: Days 08:00 – 23:00 + Sleep in
Contract Type: Full time

About the Role
As a Support Worker, you’ll provide practical help with daily tasks, offer emotional encouragement, and promote social inclusion, enabling people to lead fulfilling lives at home and in the community.
Here at Sugarman Health and Wellbeing, we are currently recruiting a Support Worker based in Eastham supporting a young lady with Autism and Learning Disabilities in her own home. You will also be required to suport her to work beteen 3-5 mornings per week You would become an essential part of her existing care team in this fulfilling and exciting role. We are looking for someone who has an inspiring attitude to promote bespoke care and support her with her day-to-day life.

Key Responsibilities

Accompany the individual to work and provide support throughout her day
-
Interact with her and participate in the activities she enjoys, such as shopping, creating makeup looks, and going on day trips to the zoo and theme parks

Promote independence, life skills development, and the achievement of personal goals

Support with daily living tasks and personal care needs
-
Provide emotional support, build positive relationships, and maintain an inspiring attitude

Assist with medication management when trained

Maintain accurate records and report concerns to the care team

Ensure a safe, respectful, person-centred environment
Key Requirements

6-Months UK Care Experience
-
A dedicated approach-someone who will go above and beyond for the Service User and staff involved in the package

Right to work in the UK (with ability to provide documentation)

Full Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
