Gary’s journey to this pivotal role began at the age of 16 when he embarked on a successful career in the British Army. Transitioning into healthcare, he accrued extensive experience, holding various senior and board-level positions within the Health and Social Care sector. As a staunch advocate for standards, Gary also holds multiple non-executive roles with trade bodies and professional committees.
