We have 6 key divisions which are:

Mandatory

All staff will complete mandatory training in line with the Care Certificate, Skills for Care, CQC and Commissioner guidance. Our mandatory training programme uses a blended approach of practical classroom-based training and e-learning.

Specialist

Our specialist training courses are delivered by our experienced training team who are CPI certified. We cover a wide range of topics within this division to make sure all Service User needs are covered.

Clinical

The clinical training is delivered by our team of experienced Nurses who tailor the programme around individual Service User’s needs, and, by taking into account the learning styles and past clinical experience of care workers.

Competencies

An assessment of competence in clinical tasks and knowledge. Competencies are a three-way agreement between the Service User (and/or family), the care worker and the Nurse who carries out the full assessment of all clinical tasks. This will be conducted in the Service User's home to ascertain the care worker's competence and confidence to deliver the complex clinical tasks needed.

Onboarding

Our onboarding webinar covers important information that all staff need to know before they start working for us. We cover topic such as policies, quality standards and codes of practice, including engagement terms and handbook.

Qualifications

We have a partnership with local training providers to support staff within their role and continued professional development with the new QCF qualifications.
