About Us

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing is a multi-divisional organisation supporting a wide range of Service Users from children to adults and has an extensive support team with adolescents. We are a clinically led organisation with our divisions of Complex Care, Specialist Services and Children Services, working together to deliver the highest service possible.​

We recognise that when it comes to someone’s care or educational needs, no two service users are the same and as such we treat them as Service Users and this is reflected in everything that we do from the point of introduction, service planning, recruitment, selection, training and ongoing supervisions.​

Our model includes working with commissioners, service users and their support network from the start to understand needs and expectations. This way we can work collaboratively to ensure that we create a service plan that will meet person-centered outcomes and ensure their safety. This model gives us a platform to build on and we will also respond to any changes to needs and conditions.​

We maintain our high standards and pride ourselves on taking a values-based and safe recruitment approach to help us attract and recruit the very best talent across the market whose personal values align with ours. Our staff are highly trained and upskilled to fully understand the vital importance of person-centred support and how to enhance our service user’s independence and ultimately support them in meeting their goals and aspirations.​

All service users and their support network are given a service user’s guide and statement of purpose during the initial referral. ​
