Live in Care

Our Live-In Care division focuses on supporting those who wish to stay in their own home, be able to be a part of their community and regularly see their family and friends.

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing takes a person-centered attitude to live-in care, understanding that each Service User is different​

Providing a dependable, understanding and comprehensive service is at the heart of everything we do, and we will support all ages whether a person is elderly, disabled or debilitated by illness.

We accept and appreciate the “tailored requirements” of every person, such as acknowledging likes and dislikes, daily necessities and in some cases complex medical needs. We work attentively with the Service User, their family, GP and any other healthcare professionals involved to provide a professional “all-inclusive” service. 

With over 10 years’ worth of experience of Live-In Care Sugarman Health and Wellbeing can support you or your loved one with this type of care. 

Why have live-in carers?​

Having live-in care means there are no restrictions as to when your Healthcare Assistant is there to help you, or what they help you with and the main aim is to help you live your life fully in the comfort of your own home.  

When providing a live-in service Sugarman Health and Wellbeing will create a personalised person-centred care and support plan that will cover all your care needs, goals and will try to minimise any disruptions to routines.

Live in care is a good options for individuals:

Allows you to stay in your own home surrounded by your comforts and personal belongings. This is especailly important for anyone who has a from Alzheimer's or Dementia.

It is an options for those who do not wish to go into a residential or nursing care home.

If you would find a rota of day and/or night shifts intrusive or overwhelming

If you reside in remote or not easily accessed areas for access for frequent visits

Gives continunity of care and would have healthcare assistants who would learn and follow care and personal routines

Family and friends can visit for as long or short as they please

It reduces loneliness and gives peace of mind that you have a healthcare assistant with you 24 hours a day

Promotes social inclusion and staying connected to your community
